Somebody.. Anybody.. [15 Nov 2004|03:58pm]
I was having an okay day today, until after school. Joe, a guy in my history class, told me straight out after 6th period that he liked me, and wanted to go out. I knew this from my classmate, Alexis, a couple weeks ago, but I feared it to be a reality. I told him that I needed time, the whole week, to think about it, because for the past month, people have found ways to irritate me; in truth, though, I don't like him like that. I know I need to tell him that I think he's a great guy and all, because he is, but I already like somebody else... who isn't from around here. In either case, the truth is going to hurt. I want to cry right now, but I can't.. I'm so busy before Thanksgiving comes around. *sigh*

Note to self: Don't sit in the same place to wait to be picked up.

Well, at least we get the free toaster [30 Jun 2004|11:41am]
FROM HERE ON OUT, JOURNAL IS FOR FRIENDS ONLY. ADD ME, AND I'LL MOST LIKELY ADD YOU! :D.

All I can say about the Spiderman premiere was that it is unbe-frikking-lievable. I can say that this is just about the best sequel of any sort of movie (not like a book series type thing) that has a sweet plotline and makes people soak in their adrenaline xD. A++ for me here, and for Carley as well. We might all go see it again together, but we're definetally seeing it again. Damn. The pictures from the premiere lastnight are here.

Here's the story about what happened yesterday. Carley came over to my house at about 5:30, since she planned to sleep over, but when we were talking online beforehand, I said I needed to shower, and she needed to give me just 15 minutes, which made me rush XD. When she got to my house, I still had to contact my dad to see when he would be home to take us to the Kaleidoscope, but I only got his answer machine on his cell. When he did call back, though, he said that he talked to mom about leaving the house at 8:00 instead of 7:00, but my mom kept nagging and said we should've gone at 9:00. Therefore, I couldn't call Israel or Isabel, because I had their numbers stored on my cell, which my dad took that morning. Through the whole dilemna, Carley and I played the HP3 video game, and she had a fun time running around not knowing what to do. Yay! Anywho, dad got home and took us to the lower level of the Kaleidoscope, and when we got the second level to arrive at the theater, I ran and glomped both Isabel and Israel, who were second in line group-wise for the premiere. There wasn't that many people there, but around 10:00 it did. All of us sat around, while eating a little of something that Israel and I went and got from a pizza parlor about 13 steps away from where we were sitting. We watched Robin Williams Live on Broadway on Israel's laptop, and, amazingly, time flew really quickly. Before we knew it, we were in the theater at about 11:00, which is pretty early, and got just about the greatest seats. About 15 minutes later, Carley and Isabel started singing '99 bottles of beer on the wall', and it took them about another 14 minutes to finish (I joined in after 80 came around), and went to the negatives XDDD; When a lady came down at 11:45 talking to us about the Star of Hope thing that they're doing, some guys at our far right yelled "Take it off!", then others just kept hooting "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!!". It was sooo funny. Anywho, when the movie started, we freaked, and suffered through all the commercials, which weren't all that appealing.
When the movie was over, we were just appalled. It was so amazering. We all swore to see it again ^^. We all walked down to the second floor garage, and waited for Isabel's mom to pick us all up, since we were able to get a ride at 2:30 in the mornin. Israel was dropped off first, then Carley and I next. It was pretty neat, concerning that the sky isn't ever completely dark. Carley and I got into my house through the garage, and had to be super quiet, since everyone but the dogs were sleeping. When we finally got into bed, Carley was just enamoured with her pillow XP, but it was about 3 when we started talking. In all truth, I think I realized how much we have in common, yet we're totally different. We simply talked about our life in general; school, friendships, health, troubles, and love. We never really went to bed till about 5 or 5:30, and got up around 8 hearing Saphra barking her head off outside. Nobody wanted to get up, so we turned on the tv to watch news and surprise makeovers in NY and Chicago. Janell came over and told me that they had to open up two lines at the Krikorian for the premiere. I guess no one wants to come to Kaleidoscope anymore, but we made a smart move by going to a not-so-crowded place, but I think the Krik would've been tons more fun.

Mrrr. Well, now I'm here and I'm not even tired. Mauricio is coming in about an hour to stay for a week in order to take care of the dogs while we're away, and I'm going surfing in a couple hours. Ciao.

[ music | Beyond The Sea - Frank Sinatra ]

NOTE: I'm officially putting this journal to a 'Friends Only' section. I'm sick and tired of random people reading about my life.

I have NO idea where the word came from o.o but whatever. Well, nothin major has been going on, school or life wise. 8 days of school left.. yay! But today, during 1st period, Mrs. Olsen sent me to Mrs. Ward's class to get my AP homework that I have to do over the summer. Greeeeaaat. I have a choice of either taking the class or going to Peru for a month and hanging out with my cousins and playing video games. Tch, score. Most of my friends suggest I go to Peru, but my parents might bite me if I don't take the class even after I leave for a month.
Anywho, tomorrow my mom invited a bunch of people over for the Lakers game and a BBQ. Gawd. In other words, it means that I have to be off the computer for god knows how long and watch the kids do crap. Maybe I'll just go out and rent a game, or beg someone to take me out of the house till 1 in the mornin XDDD. Nyah. I'm going to change this layout sometime tomorrow or the next day.. like, at 5:30 in the morning. Heh. I'm still lookin for a job, but not much is available now... maybe I'll work at Staples or something, since my mom knows some of the people who work there. Carley and I are thinking of working together at the same place, so we can manage a carpool of some sort or something.

As of the deal with apartment stuff, we can't go any further than wondering what to do as a major at Saddleback, and settle in for a nice paying job. Hmmm.. we'll see. Now, I think I'll go off and finish off on what I'm working on, or rp somewheres. Ta.

Everytime I Speak, I'm Answered With A Question [24 May 2004|08:35pm]
Well, I did write a private entry a few days ago, but I didn't feel like writing publicly.. things have just been going on that are a little too personal for me to spill out to the entire world. I just haven't been myself lately, but I feel like my life's been fucked over for eternity by an assortment of people. For those who also go to SC, just please.. give me space. I've realized that life has become more of a bitch than usual since last week, and with everything closing in for the summer, the pressure's on. I may be avoiding people, but for my own sanity and theirs, and even avoiding myself. The way I feel about myself and what goes on around me is screwed up, permanently. Do not fuck with me, and you'll be on fair terms with me. If you decide that everyday is a day to piss me off, I'm about to become your nightmare.
I am one.
Lately, internet-wise, I've been roleplaying more and more.. probably to ramble on all of my thoughts and emotions, and when I re-read them, they're really good.

You... you'll never know. You're so clueless, and I find it rather funny. I see the truth, though, and you can't dig it out of me.

It's the way things are.

And We Murmured Our How-Do-You-Dos [12 May 2004|07:05pm]
[ mood | artistic ]
[ music | Ten Minutes Ago - Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella ]

Well, school has been... interesting. On Tuesday I took my World History test, while Mr. Andriany, the teacher, stared at Kala most of the time like he was gonna eat her or somethin XD. and I know I only got 98%, which isn't good enough -__-. When both Kala and I were done, and we couldn't talk till everyone was done, I wrote a note to Kala asking what she put for one question that I skimmed over when I was online. When I realized my answer was wrong, I banged my head, knowing I couldn't set the curve now. Looks like I can't set the curve now ;__;. Oh well.
Kala and I continued back and forth with our little note, and now I have it in the cover of my folder. This was our little conversation, after we discussed the test (What I say will be put in red, Kala's will be black):
So...uhmm, I have a purple penguin named Sam.
Oh, really? Well I do too and mine is fatter.
Cheater! Well..then where did you get yours, huh?
The Amazon.
I have a taco. . .
I have an Andriany :P
O.O' *no comment* did you buy him in Italy?
Uh... no. Found him in a thrift store.
How much? *wants one*
lol. He's one of a kind. I got the only one.
*steal*
NEVA!
;___; then... can I at least play with him?
Ew. You fuck. He's mine.
Well, I would like to know what you do with him.
Wouldn't you now...
Yes, yes I would. Does it involve >.> <.< cotton balls?
No. He teaches me how to cook.
Oh.. right.. cook. ~___^
Yes...exactly...
Whoo! I'll come over for some nice home cookin, if you don't mind.
Okay. We're having sausage! XD
Popcorn, anyone? XDDD
Yes yes my pet...

Haha. It was great.. and now we've got Andriany on a leash X3~~. Ehem, anyways.. auditions for Rodger's and Hammersteins Cinderella were today, and Carley and I shoved in the back of Janell's car. We got there to see Julie, Jody, Jana, and Kirk. Well, as we did have to wait for everyone else, the R&H's Cinderella music played, and we started singing to it while filling an audition paper. As it asked why we wanted a specific role, Harmony wanted to play Cinderella and Kirk as the Prince, so for the reason, they almost wrote down "Because I want to make out with Harmony/Kirk". It was great. Then Kirk and I danced out of boredom, but he didn't know how to dance elegantly, so it was like a wild, crazy sort of dance, and he literally swept me off my feet.. whee!
A few more people arrived and we met in a small chorus room, practicing the songs that we were to sing (Stepsisters' Lament, A Lovely Night, Ten Minutes Ago, Impossible, The Prince is Giving a Ball, and Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful?). The rest of the people who came in were Carley (a different one), Erica, Erin, Rebecca, Jason, Lindsay, and another guy and another girl whos names I've forgotten. Then we practiced the five scenes available, with the character that they assigned us. There was Cinderella, King, Queen, Prince, Stepmother, Stepsisters (Portia and Joy), Herald, and Godmother. Julie wanted me to try Cinderella, and my jaw almost dropped. Well, characters do have to be your opposite, I suppose.. heh. Rebecca and I did the Godmother scene, and they had us switch to play both characters. We won't get answers till tomorrow, for they'll probably tell us while we're auditioning for dancing (as you know, almost every person has to dance, but it will be really fun).

Gonna catch you up on what's been going on. Yesterday, in Spanish class, everyone was waiting for two days to hear who the winners were for the salsa and guacamole competition. When Olsen decided to go with salsa first, second place was El Niño! O.o I was amazed, and I looked to Christian in surprise, as he and Ryan went and got their Kudos as their prize. Then the tension for 1st place came up, and the class fell silent. When the teacher said "La Bomba Del Tomate", everything froze, and I was wide eyed. She asked who it was, and I pointed to Kali and myself, with my heart in my throat and looking to Kali to see that she was surprised as well. For guacamole, my friend Julianna and her partner Rachel (a couple freshmen I've known for two or so years) won, and they were really blown away. We got to choose something from the 'Secret Treasure Chest', (whoo. spooky.) you know.. like what you get at dentist's office, heh. I chose a miniature chess set, whioch is really neat. Christian permanently hates me now. But I told him the secret is the sweet, not the heat. Theirs was good, don't get me wrong, but the key to it is the orange. I guess salsa-making runs in the family.
Yesterday night, Israel, Isabel, Carley and I planned to go see Van Helsing at Ocean Ranch, the theater I live closest to. Since it was opening night, we didn't want a bunch of teeny-boppers around Krikorian, so I proposed my suggestion. All of them met at my house, in which time Carley and I (while waiting for Isabel and Israel) watched a little of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Mom took all four of us to the theater, and we got good seats. During the movie, some girls in the front screamed EVERY TIME a beasts face surprised Van Helsing or any other character on screen. On the third time, the whole theater told the girls to shut up. It was great.
After the movie, Isabel, Israel and I joined the Regal Crown Club (Cult, in my words), which gives you free stuffs and what not. We were hungry and stopped at McDonald's, then came back to my house and ate while watching a movie. It was about 10:30, and Carley was the first to leave. But before that, everyone wandered into my room and Israel took pictures as evidence for anything that will happen in the future -.- but then he temporary blinded my brother XDD.. I'll put up the pictures when Israel uploads them. Barry took Israel and Isabel home around 10:45, and by then I was tired, but I didn't go to bed until midnight. Now, guess who only had 4 hours of sleep, hmm? Meh.

Carley and I are still in discussion of renting an apartment after high school. Hell, we have been talkin about it for 2 years, it was time we did somethin about it XP. We started saving up on apartment rent that we put in about every two weeks. Her friend, Jen, and Jen's fiance might be staying with us.. but we're not sure. If they go bump in the night, I'm barging in their room. Mhm.
*cough* I don't have much else to say. appy Mother's Day to all mothers out there. Ummmm...I need to get to bed earlier, but anime will entertain me for the meanwhile.

Festivities, Salsa, and Airline Food [05 May 2004|07:28pm]
[ mood | weird ]
[ music | Peter Pan theme song ]

Yes, it comes to the holiday: 5 De Mayo.. that not many people care about :P. Anyways, some things have been going on lately since I last posted (3 days.. wow. What a record). So far, it's been hotter than hot can be, 3 digits hot, man. You can only imagine what happened in P.E.. sheesh. Sucks to have an outside class on a hot day --'. On Monday, Janet, Fransisca, Alix, and I stood around talking to our classmates about random things as usual, since the teachers are lazy to come on time (they come in, like.. 15 minutes later XD). Anyways, it led to food and airplanes, and mixed it up to become a funny conversation. The whole of us were joking around about the annoyances people get when you turn on the airplane light when they're trying to sleep, then they complain to the stuardess about it, and all you have to say is "What?! You bitch!". My friend complained that one time, when he was last on an airplane, it was around midnight, and he was the only one awake.. save the few small kids. He told us that he got up and went to the lane, and ran up and down, then the kids started doing it after he sat back down XDDD, then the stuardesses were running up and down trying to catch the kids and bring them back to their seats. It was fun X3.

I can only give a brief explanation about Tuesday. Since AP tests are going around all this week, the schedule is being messed with once again. I was having a good day until lunch, when I was talking to my friends, when Liz got up and randomly slapped me roughly on the back. Of course, it didn't hurt, but something about it really ticked me off. I didn't know what I was doing, but I suddenly stood up, clenching my hands at my sides, and yelled out "What the f*ck is wrong with you Elizabeth?!?". I stretched her full name out rather harshly..only remembering everything she did that angered me. Of course, I and everyone else knew she absolutely hates when people call out her full name, but she didn't do anything about it. I did not face her the rest of the day or the rest or the day after that (except when Joanna, my carpool, offered to give her and Tessa and ride to Tessa's house -.-), and we were dreadfully quiet. I didn't feel like I made a fool of myself, and I didn't know what came over me, but I simply shook it off.

Now. Towards today. This morning, in Spanish class, we planned a competition to see who can make the best salsa (or guacamole). I paired up with Kali, and the whole class went outside to make their salsa with the ingredients were all brought. As Kali and I were making ours, Christian and Ryan (who paired up with eachother) planned to make the spiciest salsa. Of course, with Christian being hispanic, he brought along 5 or 6 different spices from his house.. and I said I'd steal from him. Which, in this case, I did! Before any of the salsas or guacamoles could be judged, I ran to taste Ryan and Christian's salsa, and it was super hot, which didn't make me pant, as it was really, really, really good. They put really spicy ceranos in them, the hottest, legal chile to be sold from South America to the states, and it turned out that Christian put 4 of them in his salsa! Damn, Christian. As we needed names for our creations, they named their El Niño, and Kali named ours El Bomba Del Tomate (The Tomato Bomb), hehe. Once teachers and advisers came to test out the food with chips and water at their side, they were given pieces of paper to judge who's is 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Unfortunately Mrs. Olsen said we have to wait until Friday to find who the winners are .__.; till then, I suppose.

[ music | Eternity - DAI ]

Wh00t.. update. Mauricio is here, and is leaving tomorrow. He gave me my Studio MX that I've been waiting for forever, and Adobe CS. I'm in love with them, :D. I've been lazy to do homework right now, because I'm looking for abother good rp site to join. Kala's B-day is coming soon.. can't wait to get down to Los Angeles do see DF... *pant* X3~.

Oh my god!!! Now my real reason for updating! A little earlier, like half an hour ago, an odd smell was in the air. At first, everyone in the house thought it was Dave, our neighbor, cooking again.. but it didn't smell like his cooking to me. And just 15 minutes ago, we went outside to inspect, and found that ash was falling into our yard -.-' Jesus. Anyways, we heard a firetruck nearby, and my mom went out to the front to see what was going on. Turns out that there was a fire in the mountains at San Juan, the city that's neighbored to mine.. about 3 minutes from me. Because of this fecking heat wave we've been getting since last week, it finally let off.. and is burning the hilltops even as we speak. Mauricio's car, which was just washed, is now bathed in ash, which really pissed him off XD and the smell will most likely be staying till later tonight. Bleh.

The title was inspired by my Mommeh XDDD.

I'll Be the Pretzels, You Be the Glue. [30 Apr 2004|04:08pm]
[ mood | ..just a little pissed ]
[ music | Stupid - Sarah McLaughlin ]

Just a few updates, as I have the tendency to do every couple days... unless boredom kicks in.
Well, Mrs. Olsen, my Spanish teacher, killed my morning. I know when people say not to get upset over some sort of game, but finding your way out of the rules was what pissed me off. See, we played a vocabulary game to help us get ready for the quiz we were to take a little later that morning, and the game was simple. You and your group of two or three others were to write on your little piece of whiteboard square faster than anyone else. She gave us the English word, we had to write it in Spanish. I was with Kali, Ryan, and Christian. As everyone gets a chance to write down the word, both Christian and Ryan wrote slow and sloppy.. but they did it as a joke. Whenever Van Olsen didn't look our way, Christian would stand and lift it.. but we figured she hated us and would never give us a chance to get a point. What was really funny was when Christian put 'you are a bitch' in Spanish, and lifted it and said "Can you read this? Huh?!" and I just started cracking up and helped him hold it up (luckily, though, she didn't see).
Anyways, we got the word 'Dutch' written down before anyone else, and when I was the first one to raise it up, she didn't give us our point because we got it wrong. I think she was looking for the article to it, when we DID have the correct article above it. Oh, I was so mad that I was shaking.. clutching my fists so hard that my knuckles were as white as could be. I couldn't concentrate for the rest of the morning and half of the afternoon.. she's just that big of a bitch.

On to the day. In Biology, we watched a nice little double-video combination of a guy going through a heart attack, and the narrator explaining how it was caused, and the second one about how alcohol can trigger sexual desires. XD. Johnny liked that one; we all did. The only downfall was the commercials before the good parts came up.
When the bell rang, I went down to meet with Zach, and he found a big square of nothing but pretzels and glue. Sarah and her partner said he could have it, but for what reason was beyond me. We walked to lunch, holding the thing above our heads, and showed everybody the godly square. This thing, honestly, was unbreakable! We smashed in on the floor, danced on it, dropped it from a high elevation, and lunged it at random people XDDD, but it wouldn't break. Anywho, down to the next set of tables, there was a gamble/fight going on, and Zach and I went down to see what it was about. Before we could catch anything, the Sheriff was involved, along with the principal and a few campus directors. Tch. They'll be securing that side of the lunch area in a week or two.. as they have been doing many things for, hmm, two weeks now.

Oh! Oh!!! My friend Mauricio is coming tomorrow to stay for the weekend. He's so awesome. We should just adopt him.. as he comes rather frequently from the university down in Santa Barbara. Other than that, I've got nothing else to say, really.

Taste of the Day: Blood [28 Apr 2004|08:36pm]
[ mood | sore ]
[ music | He's a Tramp - Lady and the Tramp ]

Kweh. I didn't have anything better to do, so I decided to rant here (that's what LJ is for, right?). Plus, it's probably the only form of speaking for me for a few days XD.
Okay, so I went to the dentist today, after 6 months. Before, they said I needed braces or a retainer for about a year because of one tooth that is slightly misplaced. Puh, screw that. Anyways, when I went back in, I drooled over a Johnny Depp magazine that was slightly naughty >.> and played with an Etch-A-Sketch. They called me in and sent me to the back stall, unlike last time. Well, my dentist, Crystal, was a really greta person. She brought up the question if I watched Smallville, and I nodded vigorously. Then Crystal asked if I watched Gilmore Girls, and we got into a deep conversation about the last few episodes, how Lorelai is being all silly and what not, and what will happen next. Then she got to working on me, and used a machine that made my gums sore.. hence why I don't bother talking anymore XDDD, and maybe for a few more days as well.
Of course, you're probably asking why the heck my title says I taste blood. Well, my gums are still sensitive, and they continued to bleed after Crystal was done, and even when we left the office. I still taste blood, even after I ate early and attempted to soothe my gums with warm salt water. Not working all too well right now .__.

Anywho, I finished watching Lady and the Tramp (which is why I have one of the songs in my head) and a little of Robin Hood. I know I had some homework in World History, but I could care less right now. Maybe I'll just go upstairs and work s'more on my stories. Ta.

[ music | I'll Make a Man out of You - Mulan ]

Whooo..today has been squelchingly hot, just like yesterday. This morning, we went to our STAR testing classes. I got Gustafson. Now, this woman gives "Don't judge a book by its cover" its name. She was really rude to me and had very, VERY little patience for all the students. I get to go to her class tomorrow morning too. This time, it'll be quite.. enjoyable.
During P.E today, we decided not to play tennis and just head on over to the pool. Of course, I jumped in immediately, and swam around splashing people for a little while. When I got out and climbed back up the deck seats, there were a few guys I noted coming in and out of ther pool as well. Well, when class almost finished, they dried off.. but the next thing they did simply made my day. When the teachers weren't looking, they stripped in front of everyone and danced around! Then they put on their boxers and clothes real quick before the teachers noticed anything. XD It was great.
Oh, after school, Kelli messaged me reminding me of the Jerry Springer Opera coming to San Fransisco really really soon. She said we should go and get our beads, and we might. Just depends when it comes and if we can go.
Hmm. Well, that's just an update. I think I'll go watch Aladdin know, since Kala brought her Jafar figurine today (which I played with during History).

It's only the Beginning... [25 Apr 2004|09:48am]
[ mood | predatory ]

Welcome to my new sn! I've been so picky about it lately.. it was time for some CHANGE! o.o Now, as for privacy, I'm not sure if I should just leave it as it is or have only friends see my journal. Hmmm.. help? XD Well, apart from this change, nothing major has been going on. I saw Hello Dolly! on friday night with Janell, Allison, and Carley.. which was tons of fun, and then I saw it again last night with my dad and my brother. I, literally, noted everything that they changed from Friday to Saturday night. The first time I went to go see it, though, I yelled out a bunch of comments that I wasn't supposed to (and yes, I Macbeth-cursed the play before it began), making the announcer lady permanently hate me. Yay! Well, I met Jason's cousin that night, too, and we were talking about the fall play that comes up every year. This year, they're thinking of doing Cinderella, and I'm either going to play a role or be part of the stage crew. I think it'll be fun, and I believe I'll be put as part of the tech/stage crew, since they need more people. Hopefully, I can go through with it, but if it's anywhere around July, I'd have to turn them down.. because I'm going to Mexico on July 1st to the 5th, then be back for a couple weeks before I fly off to PA to see my pen-pals from the 21st to the 28th. Mmmm.. I'll find out more detail soon enough, I suppose.
Well, I should work on homework and book editing, but I don't feel like getting up from mah chair X3. I fiddled enough on LJ now, I need something else to do.

Oh, yes. Avatar credit to Crystal. Thankies! ^-^
